How working online can be harmful to your health?

Normally many folks spend more than enough time on their computers and when it comes to professionals who are making online money, they have a much better excuse to spend a lot of time using computer. Checking leads, reading latest terminologies, bookmarking important websites, internet marketing, writing content, publishing articles and much other stuff related to money making. These all things present a fair judgment that is why we all bloggers are spending most of their day time with computer. Blogging is not the only activity that takes time, even every other activity is equally demanding and time consuming. After this prologue, I think I don’t need to say that all these activities are alright if they are not impacting negatively on your health.

Consider, if you keep on sitting in front of computer for hours and hours, is this thing increasing your efficiency in content writing or improving your skills to make online money? I think creativity starts decreasing with the passage of time while spending hours in one go in front of computer screen. Countless people must be suffering in different forms of pains such as neck, back or joints pain due to sitting for hours. Well I will discuss it later in details some other time, let’s get back to the topic that what are few things that deteriorate our health while making online money and how we can overcome them.

The very first and most important thing is poor posture or poor alignment of head, neck and back which causes stress and pain in almost every body part. The best way to avoid this problem is to sit in an upright posture, support your back with back rest and place your feet firmly on floor or on footrest. Place your arms and shoulders in a comfortable position and then start working. Believe me if this problem won’t be solved it will show lasting health issues.

Next most common issue is watery, itchy, sore or burning eyes which enhance headaches and cause eye strain. The best solution is to keep the monitor at arm’s length and take short breaks after every 45 to 50 minutes; I don’t mean to take a long break. Just take 5 minute off from your work station, close your eyes for a while or stroll out to take fresh breath and release your stress. Mark my words this activity will increase your creativity and productivity while making you fresh.

The most common problem for many people is when they start working online they get obesity. This thing doesn’t appear in weeks but if you will keep sitting on your chair you will start putting on pounds soon. I am not distracting you from making online money but let it does not deteriorate your health. Set your priorities again, start exercising regularly and availing most if not all chances of minute breaks. It is better not to be overweight than to find out programs how to lose weight.
